Harry's familiar is an internationally ignored song stylist?

Even after watching two Harry Potter movies and listening to me dissect the details of the four books, Jon didn't know the name of Harry's owl until yesterday.
Jon: "Hedwig?"
Me: "Ayep. Hedwig."
Jon: *snickers*
He now expects this round chubby owl to wear blue eyeshadow and squawk at Harry, "Try and tear me down!"

*giggle* Because I knew the owl first, I at first kept thinking throughout the lovely angry inch "Wonder what Harry would say?"
And now...I can think "Wonder what Harry thinks when whoever walks into the room and Hedwig starts whistling the Origin of Love?" heh heh
