I am the Lizard Queen
Mar. 5th, 2003 01:44 amBeing behind the times musically, I finally saw the video of the Johnny Cash's cover of "Hurt."
Trent Reznor has nothing on this man. Cash emotes more angst in this video than Trent has ever in his entire career.
And
jacklemmon's right: Cash with white hair is not right because god damn it, he ain't that old yet. Of course, the hair helps the angst immensely.
In other news, I've been on this bad college movie kick. Jon and I rented Van Wilder and American Pie 2 (at my insistence) recently. I'm sure a viewing of Deadman on Campus is coming. Tonight we saw Old School.
I'm rationalizing wanting to see Old School for Luke Wilson (kind of like me supporting Alyson Hannigan's forays onto film during/post-Buffy instead of just admitting I want to see a bad in that good way teen film).
Seriously, there wasn't that much bare Will Ferrell ass but I don't believe I could take any more if they had sneaked in one last clip. This would have been a fun movie for a matinee but not for the full-price tickets we paid. There's was certainly more antics than Luke Wilson ogling, but that's what was expected anyway.
Jon still hasn't found a logical reason for wanting to see it; I just tell him some baser part of his psyche was being called.
