So Tim Goodman's less than flattering review has me fearing for Six Feet Under's new season.

Not reading the review for fear of spoilers, but I wasn't too impressed with the season opener. As long as Justin Theroux's arms continue to make a weekly guest appearance, though, I'll keep watching.

What do you think of the new season of Coupling??

I'm sad there is no Jeff, though Jeff on the island of Lesbos consoles me.
I'm not sure if I like Oliver yet. He's got the Jeff-like lines and he's a geek like the rest of the boys but he is so socially inept, even Steve and Patrick don't quite know how to relate to him.
Susan's miracle baby plotline still bothers me because such a big deal was made over how Susan could not have a child and yet look what we have here.
I wonder if this means Steve has miracle sperm.
I'm having the most fun watching Sally and Patrick in a committed relationship. The song and dance routine for "Susan the happy, trotting elf" earns extra points too.

I'm finding Jeffless Coupling a travesty...Oliver is just too pathetic to be funny. The baby plotline is sort of fun for me just because of my current circumstances, but you're right, it doesn't make much sense.

My consolation is that I still haven't seen any of the first season and some of the second, so there is that to look forward to.

The Jeff episodes from the second season are the funniest episodes ever, though I'm generally a bigger fan of first season.
