Weekend update

I finally caught the Elijah Wood Intel ad over the weekend.
I'm so glad the kitty hair is back.
It's pretty obvious they got a petite actress because he barely fits in her lap. I suspect if they got someone more average-sized, it would be a little too "sitting on Santa's lap."
I also saw V for Vendetta. I've been putting off reading the comic because of my bad experience with The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (soulless tripe! soulless tripe!). The movie's a bit heavy handed and they draw 9/11 parallels where there were none in the comic (isn't it all about 80s England and Maggie Thatcher?). It's also less about anarchy and more about up with people against an unjust government. Thankfully the Matrixy effects were kept to a minimum.
Stephen Fry's in it for a short bit as everyone's favorite gay uncle (unlike Remus Lupin who is everyone's favorite gay uncle on smack). I was afraid Star Wars had atrophied Natalie Portman's acting muscles but I really liked her in it, and I like her better bald than with long hair.
And Hugo Weaving's voice so sexay.
Speaking of sexay, omgsosexy!
