If you didn't already know, the X-Files made me a continuity whore. I will automatically love a show to death if they can keep their invented facts straight episode to episode, and especially if it's season to season.

Yay, fake ghost pirate captain, X-2, Spider Skull Island, and Sally Impossible with baby of unknown paternity! And double yay for Stephen Colbert!

Poor Col. Gentleman! Where are his cabana boys now?

So a half-naked and drug-addled Jonny Quest is living in a bathysphere and Race Bannon is dead. What happened to Hadji and Bandit? And does this mean Dr. Quest is dead? Is Jonny all sort of messed up because Benton and Race broke up?

I'm a little sad to see Jonny living at the bottom of the ocean. Tim Matheson voiced the original Jonny so I was kind of hoping Jonny grew up to be Otter and then maybe Vice President Hoynes or even pre-cyborg Max Lord--at least the Max that didn't shoot Ted.

Heh, "ungrateful little half-monkeys."

The more I watch the show, the more I think Brock is a big softie.

Venture Brothers is Cliff's absolute favorite show. I like it too, but I tend to suffer a bizarre form of ADD in front of the TV and feel the need to wander off.

I saw "Jonny", though. Cliff laughed his ass off. Now Cliff actually did watch Jonny Quest back in the day, so that ep was extra special to him, methinks. ;D

Cliff did tell me I did miss quite an episode. Well half an episode. I think I wanted to see Dr. Girlfriend.

I can only say there are moments on that show, like when Hank was spouting some ridiculous garbage, and Brock kind of shuddered, saying, "WHERE do you GET this stuff? I never see you reading, it's like you're channelling dead B-movie actors or something," that just leave me howling with laughter.

I don't watch it consistently, though, I think I prefer the half-assed, piecemeal stuff I catch.
